DOMESTIC ORGANIZATIONS

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (see guideline 28.3, page 51 of 54).

​On January 23, 2011, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education adopted a significant revision of its Accreditation Standards and Guidelines for the Professional Program in Pharmacy Leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.  Effective February 14, 2011, the new guidelines mean that pharmacy students should no longer be assigned for any educational experiences to chain drugstores such as Walgreens, Rite‑Aid, or CVS, where cigarettes are sold and prominently displayed.
