​No states, and only a few cities have banned tobacco sales in pharmacies. Ontario, Canada was the first in 1996, followed by San Francisco and Marin County, California in 2008. 

Subsequently Boston and other Massachusetts' cities have banned the sale of tobacco products in health care facilities including pharmacies and hospital gift shops.
